🔒 Start with a read-only key
On Coinbase, create your API key with View permission only (no Trade, no Transfer) to start — you'll see real balances, positions and margin data with zero ability for anything here to move your money. Once you're comfortable with how Wingman reads your account, you can create a second key with Trade permission if you want to place orders. Never grant Transfer — nothing in Wingman needs it.
